About artless STUDIO
artless STUDIO is a small design studio in Vienna, Austria. We design espresso cups that should be something special in your day, and we ship them from Vienna to Austria and Germany.
The studio was founded in 2026 by Niklas and Hannes, two coffee lovers with an eye for design.
What we make
We make carefully designed espresso and cappuccino cups with character. Something special in your day, something extraordinary that you always look forward to using.
More of life now happens at a distance. A cup is here: warm, heavy, in your hand. We design the small things that keep you in the room: at seven in the morning, across a table, before the start line.
Espresso is not a ritual to stage. It is a short, intense moment. The cup that holds it should have the same attitude.
Drink it like you mean it.
Our first two designs
Both put a few words in bold red type on white porcelain. Each comes as an espresso cup (65 ml, 119 mm saucer) and as a cappuccino cup (160 ml, 139 mm saucer), and the matching saucer is included.
Morning Crush is for mornings that deserve more than just waking up. It says “No snooze.”
Tutto Bene is the Italian answer to almost everything. The artless STUDIO Tutto Bene espresso cup is the one for the short, strong moments.

Designed in Vienna, hand detailed in Italy
We design every cup in Vienna, and we iterate until a design is right. An Italian supplier prints the designs onto the cups for us.
The studio today
We started this together, and we are growing into it as co-founders. There is a lot to learn about running a business, and we are learning it as we go. What we want to build is a home goods brand: ceramics for the home and everything adjacent to it. The shop opened in September 2026.
