These terms apply to all orders placed through artless.at by consumers and businesses. Full company details are in our Impressum.
Product listings on artless.at are an invitation to order, not a binding offer. You place a binding order by completing checkout and clicking the payment button. Cart, checkout and payment are operated on our behalf by Shopify.
We then send an automatic email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement is not yet acceptance. The contract comes into effect when we send a separate shipping confirmation, or when we dispatch the goods — whichever happens first. If we cannot fulfil your order, we will tell you promptly and refund any payment in full.
The contract language is English. We do not store the contract text beyond your order record; please keep the confirmation email.
All prices are in euro and are final prices per item, including the saucer. Shipping costs are shown separately before you confirm the order.
We sell as a small business under the Austrian Kleinunternehmerregelung (§ 6 Abs. 1 Z 27 UStG): no VAT is charged or shown, on orders to Austria or to Germany. This is a deliberately provisional and reversible status, based on turnover staying below both the Austrian small-business threshold and the EU-wide cross-border threshold for distance sales, and may change for future editions.
Shipping: €5.90 to Austria, €7.90 to Germany. Orders of €49.00 or more ship free.
Payment is due when the order is placed, through the methods offered at checkout. Payment is processed by Shopify; we never see or store your full card details.
Currently available: credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. We do not offer Klarna, purchase on invoice, direct debit, cash on delivery or gift cards.
The methods available to you are shown at checkout before you confirm and pay, and that display is authoritative — a method that is temporarily unavailable will not appear there.
We currently ship to Austria and Germany only, via GLS. Orders are dispatched within 2–5 business days; expected delivery is 3–7 business days after dispatch. These are estimates, not guaranteed dates.
Where you are a consumer, the risk of loss or damage passes to you only when you (or someone you have designated) take physical possession of the goods.
Our cups are porcelain and are packed accordingly. If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please photograph it before unpacking where you can and contact us — this makes the carrier claim much easier. Your statutory rights do not depend on doing so.

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The full statutory notice and the model withdrawal form are on the Right of withdrawal page.
Statutory warranty (Gewährleistung) under Austrian law applies: two years from delivery for physical goods. If an item is defective, you may in the first instance ask for repair or replacement, and thereafter for a price reduction or rescission of the contract, under the conditions of the Verbrauchergewährleistungsgesetz (VGG).
Small deviations in colour, glaze and typography print are inherent to the material and the printing process and are not defects. Each cup is a produced object, not a rendered image.

The goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for personal injury, and under the Produkthaftungsgesetz. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, limited to foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Statutory consumer rights are not affected by this clause.

If we cannot reach agreement, consumers in Austria can turn to the Internet Ombudsstelle, an approved out-of-court dispute resolution body: ombudsstelle.at. Participation is voluntary on our side; we will confirm in each case whether we take part. (The EU's online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/odr ceased operating on 20 July 2025 and is therefore no longer named here.)
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you additionally keep the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence — this clause cannot take those away.

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
